This is a sweet little book written in the fifties, about being fifteen in the fifties, that is probably too dated for a modern fifteen-year-old. Cleary's books about the children of the Klickitat Street neighborhood written in the same period have retained more relevance, and kept their bloom much better/5.

I knew the book was called "Fifteen", but didn't remember the author's name. I had tried to find this book several years ago, but without knowing the author, it was impossible.

Thank you Google that I was able to google "book set in 's romance fifteen" and a link to Amazon UK came up and there was my old favourite book!/5().

Fifteen is a juvenile fiction novel written by Beverly Cleary. It was first published in It chronicles the perspective of a teenage girl entering her first romantic : Beverly Cleary. The Midnight Star (Young Elites #3), by Marie Lu The Young Elites was decent, The Rose Society was better, but The Midnight Star eclipses the other two with its achingly beautiful character portrayals and intensely gripping, emotional, and dramatic story.

Marie Lu’s Champion broke my heart with its love story, and The Midnight Fifteen stories for junior R.E. book did it with the most spectacular character journey I’ve Author: Melissa Albert.
